When I searched Google for ’18 inch high toilets’ or ’18 inch toilet bowl height’ I found many matching search results. But when I checked those search result pages, the toilet models they contained were 16.5″ or 17 inch high toilets that could be made into 18 inch high toilets with a thick raised toilet seat or some other trick.
So I tried to find one and finally after much research came across only one toilet model that can be called a 18 inch high toilet with an 18 inch high toilet bowl. I’d like to share my findings with you here. Below are the details about that toilet model.
Compare 18 Inch Toilet with Other 17-19 Inch High Toilets
Here is a comparison of the two 18, 19 inches high toilets I found along with two more most popular tall toilets among the 17-19 inch high ADA toilet range.
18 Inch High Signature Hardware Stalnaker Toilet
The only toilet I found that really has a 18 inches high bowl height level is the Signature Hardware 413995 Stalnaker Elongated Two-piece toilet. (Here is the link to its Amazon.com sales page where you can check it out and order now.)
Lets have a look at this toilets features and details.

The price of this toilet is also very reasonable. Considering its unique feature of 18 inch high toilet bowl rim I think many people would have bought this toilet even if it was double its price. Specially considering there are lot of people wanting to buy 18 inch toilets. And only few other toilet models that can be made into a 18 inch high toilet even with a trick like an extra-high raised seat .
It’s also nice that it comes with a seat included. Normally with most toilets these days you have to buy a toilet seat separately which cost additional to you.
KOHLER 18 Inch Toilet
While looking into 18″ toilets I saw many mentions of Kohler 18 inch toilet but I couldn’t find any Kohler toilet with a 18 inch high toilet bowl. However I found a Kohler toilet model that has a 17 1/8″ inch high bowl rim height. Depending on the toilet seat you use, its height with seat increases to between 18 to 18 1/2 inches. Below is that toilet

19 Inch Toilet Bowl Height
If you want a 19 inch high toilet your best choice is the Signature Hardware 413995 Stalnaker toilet. With the standard toilet seat that comes included its seat height becomes 19 inches from floor to seat top.
20 Inch High Toilet
So as discussed above if you are looking for a 18″ high toilet the Kohler model is good. And if you want a 18 inch toilet bowl height model (which with the seat will become a 19″ high toilet) the Signature Hardware Stalnaker Toilet is good. But what if you want or can get a toilet with a even higher seat level?
Then your choice is to go for 20 inch high Convenient Height toilet (link to Amazon) This extra tall toilet is the only 20 inch high toilet currently in the market.

18-1/2″ Kohler toilet
Hi Blake,
Thanks for your comment about Kohler Santa Rosa. I checked its specification sheet and few other sources. According to them, Santa Rosa bowl rim height is 16 1/2″ (419mm) from the floor. The thickness of the seat and lid is 1-15/16″ (49mm). The total height from the floor to the top of the lid is 18-7/16″ (468mm).
However many sources I checked claim the height from floor to the top of the lid as the height to the top of the seat. I couldn’t find a place that strictly mentions the toilet’s height to the seat top. Different customer reviews and replies online give different figures. For example, the replies to this question about its seat height on Amazon #ad give different figures like 17-3/4″, 18″ etc. So, I think its seat height is maybe around 17-3/4″ or 18″. I would like to see a source that mentions it accurately.
Overall, it’s a very popular toilet and a good toilet for someone looking for a 18 inch seat height toilet. However if you are looking for a 18 bowl height toilet in the US, so far I’ve come across only the Stalnaker 18″ bowl height toilet mentioned above.

Great information, thanks for posting it. Did you find any round bowl, 18 inch tall bowl models on your search?
Hi Jeffery,
Signature Hardware Stalnaker is still the only toilet with a 18 inch tall bowl but it’s elongated. I keep an eye on the market but I haven’t heard about any other 18 inch bowl height toilets.
Any specific reason you want a round bowl model? If its to save space and you are tall, then consider the 20 inch Extra Tall Toilet. Even though its seat height and overall height is taller than regular toilets, its length and width is only 27 inches and 15 inches. That’s shorter than even most round toilets. So it’s a very compact elongated toilet designed for small bathrooms and saving space. It’s elongated bowl means you have a more comfortable seat and extra space to use and clean while avoiding touching the bowl.
Currently in the U.S. the standard toilet width is around 18 to 20 inches and the standard toilet length/depth is
I am currently in a situation where a taller seat height is required. Your post sure made my quest to find such a thing oh sooooo much easier.
Thanks for your effort.
